Dont Starve on Xbox - Enormous Lags

Hello

Me and my mate experience horendous freezes while playing the game in offline Splitscreen mode on Xbox One.This also happens if one of us is playing alone. We arent even connected to the internet, still have those lag issues. Kiting enemies is impossible and every 3-5 seconds the game stands still for approx. 0,5-1 seconds, which results in an unplayable game.  

I already searched for solutions in this forum and didnt find any. So may i ask the devs if they can fix the issue on xbox? I paid 15 bucks for it and it doesnt even come close to a experience which is worth anything.
