My bovine friend did give that little 'sparkle' effect, indicating they've been fully tamed, so I don't see what I could be doing wrong.
When spring comes, or other nearby beefalo go into heat, mine does too. He does not attack me (phew), juts waves his little red romper around and moos a lot. Anyways, I feel like this shouldn't be happening so here I am.
P.S.: love this game to bits, thank you devs for this wonderful gem 
Steps to Reproduce
I've continued to feed and brush him, just to be safe. Not sure of what could have triggered it, other than seasonal changes.
