Distilled knowledge not granting the respective blueprint if you move away while it's opening

I was able to get the blueprint for the astral detector and turf crafting station just fine, but the amberosia distilled knowledge granted me nothing. Even after 4 attempts, my character just says they already have that knowledge. This could've been because I was dodging a sentrypede while it was opening and moved out of range at the perfect moment.
