DISK WRITE ERROR

When I tried to launch the game this prompt showed up

"You can’t open the application “dontstarve_steam” because it may be damaged or incomplete."

Already did the following:

  • uninstalled/installed the game
  • restarted Steam
  • checked administrator privileged 
  • fixed library

yet I still can't launched DST =(

Any advise? Thank you so much ^_^

If the disk write error is from Steam you will need to allow Steam to have access to your drive. Open System Settings.app and the Privacy & Security will have an option for Full Disk Access that you will want to let Steam.app have permissions by hitting the plus sign and navigating to your Steam.app installation.
