This bug happened to me twice
I planted a large forest near my camp to be sure to have lots of wood when I need. It disappeared. Only that forest disappeared. Other trees I planted somewhere else or wild trees where not affected by the bug.
Beside of that, I love your games. Continue like that.
I planted a lot of trees, very close to one another. After several days, just after a new day started, the trees in my forest started disappearing.
I didn't have the time (nor the presence of mind) to notice if the game was saving or not.
The other trees I planted that were not close to the forest remained unaffected.
I tried leaving the game and starting again, and the trees were absent
I tried to rollback the day before to see if it happened again, but it didn't.
I have no mod activated that could act on the trees.
This bug never happened to me before the "She sells sea shells" update
