Even after disabling fullscreen mode and restarting the game, it still launches in fullscreen mode, and the fullscreen mode is very laggy with severe frame drops.

Disabling fullscreen, applying the changes, exiting the game, and restarting the game still results in it launching in fullscreen mode.
