User Feedback

Seeing this as well.

Server starts up in Ubuntu 22.04.3LTS and runs as expected, but once another player joins that server disconnects all players, including the local player.
Cloud save shared to Windows 10 Pro 22H2 runs correctly - Any number of players can join without issue.

Problem exists with both mods and without mods.

I'm getting the same issue on Arch Linux x64 on an nVidia card, although I'm seeing this from the in-game hosting interface rather than a dedicated server - the `dontstarve_dedicated_server_nullrenderer_x64` server instances crash when a user connects. In-game behaves fine otherwise for yourself until another user connects.

If I recall correctly, the last server I successfully hosted was before hotfix 579121.

I'm also having the same issue as @sicallis, the same happens under proton. I'm assuming its an issue with the linux steam libraries as I started experiencing it in multiple games at the same time.

I've also run up against this issue.  Server log isn't helpful.  Is there a way to crank it up to 11 ?

I've removed all mods that were here, validated integrity of files, and tested against a Windows 11 host.

Mods where old as I haven't played in a while, the validation was successful and I am able to join against a Windows 11 host.

Looking at the logs doesn't show much except the last line is the remove client connecting. [P2P] Session request for '######' a bunch of numbers.

I guess I could test against dedicated server and maybe there might be more information.
