Controller Detected Message does not close

PS5 controller newly connected and does not allow to close the Controller Detected prompt.

Steps to Reproduce

Connect a new controller and start the game. The prompt will not go away. Gameplay continues in the background of the message. I never had a controller hooked up prior to this.

Appears that disconnecting from the Server allows you to select the option for the message to go away. In game, you cannot. This is on Steam, by the way.

I'm having the same issue, when you mean disconnect server did you just leave and go back in? I've restarted steam, the game, reconnected the controller, went in and out of server, and still I can't get this message pop up to go away.
