Connection issues

Good evening!

It's been about 2 years since I played DST and even then it was on private server hosted by me. Now that a few friends started playing I wanted to join.

So I connected to the server, it started off with me being able to walk a few steps, after that I was stuck in running animation but not going anywhere. I couldn't move anywhere, I couldn't interact with anything. I disconnected from the game server and I was back at the main prompt screen to log into my profile (as if it just logged out).

Yes, I checked the troubleshooting guide:

• My internet is fast.
• All workshop items deleted / disabled.
• All cached game settings deleted.
• Firewalls and virus scanners checked.
• Verified files.

I tried everything possible to fix the issue, nothing worked. The friend (host) is regionally not far from me, so it shouldn't be the issue.

I'd really appreciate any help possible because I like this game but it's upsetting I can't play it with friends.
