Can't use d-pad or shoulder buttons with controller after playing Balatro minigame

As stated in the title, once I use the Balatro machine, the d-pad and shoulder buttons stop working. This has happened twice out of the three times I have played the minigame so far.

Steps to Reproduce

Play the Balatro minigame while using a controller. I don't know if it's a specific action preformed during the minigame that causes it.
