Can't open DST on Mac since the update.

Sorry either I didn't understand the steps correctly or it wasn't working for me. I right-clicked the dontstarve_steam icon in folder and clicked open, the same pop up window appeared, “dontstarve_steam” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."

Thus step 3 was confusing to me: 3) When you encounter that error message, click on the OPEN button. This will force the MacOS device to launch the game successfully. I already got the pop up window saying I can't open it. I clicked to open again, the screen was just indifferent, the same pop up window just stayed there. So, the game was not launched. And then I tried to click on PLAY in steam DST, nothing happened, but the PLAY button changed to STOP (but the game was not launched). Nothing was happening. Lastly, I clicked on "cancel" on the pop up window, the STOP button changed back to PLAY. The entire time of going through this process the game was not launched.

Also, I'm logged in as Admin so it was not a user privilege problem.

The problem was resolved, it was a Privacy issue in the Mac setting, not the game itself.
