Cannot reconnect to existing game

Hi,

we have created a server for 2, it works OK at first, but every time we try to re-connect to the same server after a few days, we get the message "server is not responding" for the player who is not hosting.

We are playing on the same internet connexion,connected by wire to the same box. We play on 1Windows PC and 1Linux, sometimes Apple device.

We use no mods, tried to disable every kind of firewall, the antivirus, and game is running in admin mode on the Windows PC.

We have created several servers, back to day 1 each time, and the same problem comes back every time...

Please help !

 

Steps to Reproduce

Launch game, host server from last time we played, and connect to the server when it show up in the list. Get "sever is not responding", be disappointed, try again 10 times, close it all, and watch Netflix instead.

Or create a new game that works 1st time. Back to day1 :culpability:

We have been having the same problem. Playing with a Mac and Windows PC, we usually play with mods, disabling them does not seem to help. Doesn't matter which computer is hosting, eventually the error comes up. Strangely enough when one game stops working we are able to access an older game on the other computer that we were previously getting errors for. Sometimes we get the error even when starting a new game. The most recent occurrence happened at day 256 after playing on the same server for several weeks, don't know if it is part of it but we reset the modem just before the error started.
