i'm on day 255, i went down to the cave. suddenly teleported to distant ruins ( i lost my cow, inventory is all items from day 244 - before that i collected resources on monkey island )

i decided to reroll 1 day and i crashed. now i can't initialize the world even though i tried ways like run admin, windows protect trust file but still can't

User Feedback

for those who come later, I found a solution.

Reason: The game save is in drive C, in the Document folder. And OneDrive automatically backed up the file in the C folder (and also interfered with the save file so it was impossible to save the game or clone the world ..... )

Solution: 1. Turn off OneDrive's file backup - tried it and found it not recommended. Use method 2

2. Move the game save file to another folder. (Here I save the steam game in folder D so I want to move the game save file from folder C to folder D)
1. Find the location of the steam game file (right click on the DST game icon in the Steam Library, then select open folder)
2. Copy the folder path above
3. Read https://steamcommunity.com/app/322330/discussions/0/1353742967809026351/
And in "-persistent_storage_root c:\DontStarveTogether" (without quotes), replace "c:\DontStarveTogether" with the folder path found in step 1.

and now the game save file has been moved to the folder you want (like my example is Folder D), now there is still no world file and your character. The last step you need to do is copy and paste the old save file (location C) to the new (folder D) and you're done.
