When Bernie comes alive but doesn't turn into BERNIE!, he can be picked up directly; this is achieved by giving him an inventoryitem. As such, and since he can exist out in the world, he can be drawn on a Mini Sign. However, he doesn't seem to have an inventory have an associated inventory image (or whatever gets used by drawable exactly), so you can end up with a drawn Mini Sign that looks blank.
Steps to Reproduce
- Be not-Willow and acquire a Bernie, or be Willow and acquire two

Drop the Bernie(s), and go insane
- One will be bernie_active
- Place a Mini Sign near the small Bernie
- Draw him on the sign
- Gaze upon the blank Bernie Sign
