Can’t join my friend. Put me back at start

I open up the game, load in, then go to join my friend. I’ve tried joining them, joining their invites, looking for them in browse games, reopening the game, uninstalling, etc. but it does the same thing. 
I join them, it’ll pop up with connecting, go to the loading for 2 seconds, then it’ll go back to the start screen and will log me in again. And it does it every time,
