Boat leaving stuff behind - when riding on 2 winged sails

As the title says. Boat is leaving all kind of structures (Chests, Salt box, sails) behind on the sea. This happens with 2 winged masts, or 3 regular masts. 

When this happens with a sail, it's super frustrating 'cos you have no option to stop the boat and the only option is reroll a game. 

I'm using only couple most popular mods, which shouldn't affect sea content. 

PS: Also when I'm sailing with 2 winged masts and grab a steering wheel, I'm unable to move (stop sailing) for about 10-20 seconds, therefore very vulnerable to hit a rock formation or something.
