Bio scanner doesnt scan

When i am playing on an online surver with my friends ( like 5 people ) my bio scanner doesnt scan. I mean it doesnt start flying. Just sits there not doing any thing. I've tryed restarting my game, but it doesnt change anything. Also it doesnt mater how much i wait, i waited like 2-3 in game days last time i tryed it it does nothing. Ive also tryed crafting new once, but it doesnt change any thing. By now ive got 4 bio scanner that do nothing. Also i am playing WX-78.

Steps to Reproduce

Idk im plaing on a surver with my friends, hosted by one of them. He says it doesnt have any mods for affecting charactes, only one to allow more friends, because the limit is 4.

@ttizuto hello, just to clarify did you set up bio scanner by right mouse click or just drop it on the ground? Also try use Jimmy in another world without any mods just for check. I'm playing WX a lot and never had this problem.

oh yea, you are right. Sorry am new to the game and no guide said something about that, i was just droping it on the ground. Thanks
