Befriended Bishops (or clockworks) attack Neutral mobs on sight

As WX, I befriended 4 bishops (I had 1 chessmaster circuit), went to pig king, then bishops, without pigs attacking or anything, started attacking pigs (I didn't do anything).

I'm not sure about befriended knights, or rooks, but if it's the same, rooks would cause a nightmare, destroying structures.

I'm also not sure about any other neutral mobs that could be affected by the same issue, but for example this doesn't happen with birds, butterflies or rabbits.
