Hi, for a while now I've been noticing that tamed Beefalos constantly get their (grooming station) appearances reset, and the bond through the Beefalo Bell gets broken at random (changing the Beefalo's name and making it no longer follow the player). I've been trying to figure out what the trigger for these resets are.
I only noticed this once, but when I played the beefalo horn for plants, it caused my dressed up Beefalo to quickly play the Wardrobe Change animation (with shadowy arms covering it for a second) so that it would reset to its basic model and play the mooing animation in response to the beefalo call.
I'm also hypothesizing that when I feed my tamed beefalo enough for it to have a hunger bar, and then that hunger bar goes back to 0, it breaks the bell bond. But I don't know if that's a bug or intended. I thought that once you have a fully tamed beefalo, you're not supposed to feed it to full anymore, and feeding is only really for healing. Is it intentional that it hurts the domestication/tameness or the bell bond? Or are there other known reasons for these Beefalo resets happening?
- Have fully tamed Beefalo
- Customize it in the Beefalo Grooming Station
- Use Beefalo bell
- The Beefalo should have its bell bond broken and appearance reset to default
