Items stored in Wilson's beard often fall out when moving between shards, and hopping on a boat with solid objects on that side of the boat will force you into the ocean. These have been a problem for a long time

Travel between the overworld and caves with food in Wilson's beard, jump onto a boat with a solid object on the side of the boat you're jumping to
