Arrow to change tools skins doesn't work correctly

I have some skins that i gained thanks to daily gifts and other things but everytime I try to apply them while i'm on a server it simply doesn't work, i press the arrow and it doesn't answer, it only crafts the tool but without the skin, it's like the arrow isn't there, i wasn't using any modes so that isn't the trouble, hope you can see this and give me the solution cuz it's awful to play without skins uwu
