In DST, hammering the Pseudoscience Station will not strike lightning on the player. In single player Dont Starve, lightning will strike so building a lightning rod is necessary.
Spawning the Ancient Station via console commands on the surface will make it strike lightning so I think it may be a cave issue.
Steps to Reproduce
Hammer a broken or fuller repaired ancient pseudoscience station and see that there is no lightning strike.
