Activated Ice Flingomatic with lots of fuel allowed a summer wildfire to burn the base

Late Summer after caving as Wortox, I immediately teleported to base then turned on my Ice Flingomatic. Plenty of fuel.

I cooked some food and did a few stuff then teleported to the Killer Bee Biome (roughly 4 souls away) without having noticed any smoldering prior (might have missed it tho).

I gathered some souls until night time, soul hopped back, then was utterly surprised by the sight of half my base and items being burnt with a noisy active flingomatic with lots of fuel in the middle of it all. I then rolled back but lost the will to continue playing. Very unfun.

This has never happened to me in my 1.3k hours of playing the game and some hours developing mods (I made the Proper Switching client mod as well as the Farming QoL). How could this have happened? Is there a chance Klei would fix this or should I just turn off wildfires :\

Steps to Reproduce
  1. During late Summer, Turn on ice flingomatic with lots of fuel.
  2. Teleport far away (4+ souls) as Wortox.
  3. Wait until night time.
  4. Soul hop back to base.
  5. There's a rare chance your base will still burn despite having an active flingomatic in the middle (happed once in 1.3k hours of experience).

"Just protect your base with flingomatics", they said.

"Just keep them fueled and turned on", they said.

Where was your base, any chance it happened to be where a tumbleweed can roll into it? I had one roll into my base once and burn the whole place down offscreen, flingo was on standby mode but it was winter. Tumbleweed got ignited by the dwarf star near the base.

Nope, the dfly desert in my world is at the other end of the map.

Dang that was unfortunate. This is why I don't base in the desert anymore. I love having my peace of mind.
