Only the texture disappears, but the effects are still there.Restarting the game fixes the issue for a short moment.
I thought leaves could be burned since in the first image I got rid of my boat using fire, but it's not the case in second image.
Weirdly enough after some time they slightly reappeared
Another thing to point out is that when i invited my friend to see if its a bug only on my side he noticed it too but only for the first image. When i showed him the area of 2 image he didn't see anything weird

it seems it happens when trees are closer than 8 tiles
