She sometimes just decides not to follow her standard folowing procedures.
while in non riled up mode she just wanders sometimes and doesn't imediately try to follow wendy when out of range.
She also often times just sits in places and needs to be commanded to move.

This strange ai problem seems to happen when the player has a pipspook following wendy

Assisting a pipspook causes these problems to occur
It seems to be it happens when abby recently got hit while doing a command.
Like using haunt.
