Hello, I'm a Don't Starve player who took a break after the Wilson rework. I'm trying to enjoy the game with my friends again after a long time, but we encountered an issue. When I tried to reconnect to the server we used to play on (I'm the server admin), the game has become very glitchy. My character doesn't move properly; even when it does, it freezes after about 10 seconds, and then moves very slowly for 1-2 frames before freezing again. This makes it impossible to progress in the game. What could be the solution to this problem?"
In a state like the one shown in the picture, all in-game keys are unresponsive except for the Escape key, which functions as expected.
Steps to Reproduce
- Launch the game.
- Connect to the server you used to play on and open the server.
- Attempt to invite other players, but notice that the character doesn't move properly (there's severe lag and freezing, with delays of about 10 seconds between very slow movements).
- Wait in-game after connecting.
- The issue persists.
