Not being able to run the gorge beta

Hi there, first post on here. I'm having troubles even getting into the game, I'm running on a windows 7 PC, strong one too, so I don't think its the PC's fault, I did all the steps to activate the beta but I cant seem to get past the first loading screen, I'm met with an "program unresponsive" window that dosen't go away by letting it "respond" this also happens if I do attempt to find a game of the Gorge. I've tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it, switching from the beta back to the normal DST and back again. Restarting my PC really anything I can think of. It also can barely close right! Once it goes into its unresponsive state i can't naturally close it, and it dosent respond either! I have to force shut it down. Anything that could help?
