My cookbook shows wet goop for recipes 1-69, 70 is still syrup. The "wet goop" recipes are titled "Unknown" but still show rewards for offering, which craving, and ingredients.
I did a little testing, a new recipes don't show up rotten in-game or at the menu. Recipes I remake also go back to normal.

(Edit) I believe it is caused by having the cookbook menu open for a time, I had it open looking for missing recipes.
