While opening a container (like the crockpot) picking up ingredients with the A button on an Xbox 360 controller makes the ingredient disappear. It can still be transferred and reappears after it is dropped. The behaviour is confusing none the less.
The bug was encountered in the Gorge - beta on Linux.
Steps to Reproduce
Use an Xbox 360 controller. Transfer a dish or ingredient from the crockpot to the inventory.
