Wurt loses sanity when eating kelp patches, but actively expresses a desire to eat them.

She calls them a snack for later, but takes a massive hit to her sanity when hitting them just like any other character.

Steps to Reproduce

examine a boat patch as wurt, then eat it.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

She also loses health from eating it. I guess they didn't think of making it a kelp food for wurt specifically.
