Woby retrieving stranded bull kelp will cause it destroyed

Steps to Reproduce

1.Go to Lunar island

2.Turn on Woby retrieving skill while near to bull kelp

3.Watch them getting picked up while resulting nothing in inventory

Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

Hey, an issue similar to this still exists. Posting a video showing it occurring, I'll be adding client_log and listing any/all mods I'm currently running. I will also test this in an unmodded server next.

UPDATE: So, I tested in a world without server mods and I can confirm that a bug exists, but it's actually pretty interesting. Here's what happens from what I can see.
Requirements:
-Woby needs two have two slots, that are either empty or filled with kelp + bull kelp.
-The bull kelp collected has to be world generated. (Or maybe I'm dumb and can't find the correct pre-fab in c_spawn.)
Have Woby go collect the bull kelp stalk.
Scenario 1: (Two free slots)

  • (Bug) Both the kelp and kelp stalk will be invisible in Woby's inventory. Placing either into her inventory will cause slight lag and then cause them to vanish as well. This will increase the amount of invisible kelp/stalk in Woby's inventory. Note: If Woby transforms, this seems to fix the invisible slots issue.

Scenario 2: (One Free Slot, One Slot w/ Kelp)

  • (Bug) The kelp will increment by one, the bull kelp stalk will be invisible.

Scenario 3: (One Free Slot, One Slot w/ Bull Kelp Stalk)

  • (Bug) The bull kelp stalk will increment by one, the kelp will be invisible.

Scenario 4: (One Slot w/ Kelp, One Slot w/ Kelp)

  • (Not a Bug) Both will increment by one.

I have not tested if Woby will attempt to go above 10 bull kelp stalk.

Slight correction: Woby needs to have a free inventory slot to pick up the beached bull kelp, otherwise she will not attempt to grab it.
