In inventory - have a stack of <5 embers, and other stacks of embers so that you have 5+ total in your inventory.
Right click the <5 stack and select Shadow Fire.
The embers will be deducted from the stack you clicked and additional stacks to pay the cost, but the spell will not cast.
Steps to Reproduce
Have multiple stacks of embers in inventory.
One of the stacks is <5 embers.
Select the <5 stack to cast Shadow Fire from.
Embers will be deducted properly from this and other stacks.
Spell will not cast.
