If malicious players use this method to trap the Celestial Altar on a maelstrom, it may soft-lock world progression. Please address this issue promptly.
Steps to Reproduce
- Sail a boat into the maelstrom's gravitational zone. Use the Rift Watch to set an anchor point during the suction process (before being fully absorbed).
- Activate the Rift Watch while carrying a statue (e.g., Celestial Altar piece) to teleport into the rift. The player will briefly appear near the maelstrom with the statue, then be sucked in—but the statue will remain floating above the maelstrom without triggering water collision.
- Return to the maelstrom area and observe the statue's state (floating indefinitely without sinking).
A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
