portal spawning mechanic

after observing the unnatural portal for a while I observed that the chance of an item spawning and not disappearing decreases the more items the portal spawns in, grass, twigs, rocks, monkeys, light crabs, palmcone seeds, banana bushes, monkeytail plants, and that is a very big issue i've ran a test and found that it would take about 15 ingame days 2 irl hours to farm ~15 palmcone seeds, and ~10 monkeytail plants which is insanely slow considering the portal has to be loaded.

the island is insanely good but it doesn't have enough content to make keep the player preoccupied while waiting for the portal to keep spawning and you need some way to remove the items from being loaded to keep getting items. in my opinion this should be heavily modified

also i crashed when switching from wonbur to wanda (when i logged back in i was at the same point but as wanda)
