Please Save Mouse Stutter Stepping

Hello Klei Developers, I hope you are having a great and healthy winter!
Thank you for creating such a great fun game to play, it has been a blast and keep up the good work.

I do have one concern regarding the beta, which is, in one word, stutter stepping, but to be more precise, mouse stutter stepping.

Before I continue, I acknowledge that stutter stepping (a method to increase DPS by canceling the attack animation through movement) is a very niche part of the game, which I'm sure most users are not concerned about. However, for me and a few others, it has been a highly engaging method of combat mechanics, especially the freedom to kite a boss or mobs, or kiting my way through the nightmare phase in the ruins.

However, in the current beta, due to multiple lines of code that were explained to me but I could not understand for the life of me, stutter stepping using the mouse no longer functions in the live game. After contemplating for several months, I thought it was at the very least worth a shot to bring this to the developers' attention and perhaps humbly request that this be noted so that this potentially entertaining and enjoyable aspect of the game may not be unfortunately buried. If the change was necessary for a crucial part in this update, I do understand that this would be inevitable. However, fingers crossed, I'm hoping it's possible to somehow maintain mouse stutter stepping.

-For more information about stutter stepping, please refer to DonGiani's YouTube video, which explains it in depth: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rzn6EPm-QV0&t=155s
-Lines of code that we think are causing this phenomenon:
I was told the lines regarding "RemoteAttackButton" in the file "playercontroller.lua"

Thank you for reading, and I wish you all good fortune in the Year of the Snake.

I don't know if this is a bug but I have been referred to post this here by fellow content creators.
