While Pearl can now stay outside until night comes, with enough Light Posts, if players do "Dress Up" interaction when it is dusk, Pearl will go into the house and won't come out until the next day. Maybe she is just shy to showcase her new looks? 
Steps to Reproduce
1. Make enough game progress to relocate Pearl to mainland, increase decoration points and build enough Light Posts so Pearl can stay outside when dusk comes.
2. When dusk arrives, interact with her house and choose "Dress Up". Select a skin and accept it
3. Pearl will go into her house and won't come out until the next day.
