Well this time it's just inconsistent with its non-beta self. Specifically,
the smoke FX flickers between being in front of the thurible and being behind it, while on the release branch it's always behind the thurible.
Even more specifically: I've caught the FX in front of the dropped thurible object, comme ci...
In front of the player and the thuriblebody, as pictured earlier...
And between the swap_object and the thuriblebody, comme ci
Movement in camera-space seems to affect it while equipped. While the player walks away from the camera, or I zoom out, the smoke stays in front of the thurible (and player). While I walk toward the camera or zoom it in, the smoke stays behind the other entities.
The dropped thurible, however, flickers the same way regardless of camera movements.
I guess it's actually kinda weird that, in the release branch, if I walk up and to the left the smoke stays behind the player even though logically it should be closer to the camera than the player. But the flickering is

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
