Lunar chassises starve/die while you're in the caves/on a diff shard

I went into the caves with a lunar chassis in tow, spent several days down there and then came out of a distinct cave entrance, only to find that the lunar chassis i had left, did not teleport back to me like a follower usually does. I went back to the cave entrance I used initially and there was a deactivated chassis. 

 

This is... cumbersome if intended. these lunar chassis things are so cumbersome : /

Steps to Reproduce

1. lunar chassis activate

2. enter cave

3. wait several days

4. come back

Go to bugs

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

This also happened to me, I came up from a different cave exit than the one I went down, my clone wasn't with me at the new cave entrance, and when I went back to the original cave entrance the chassis was invisible. I had to use remote backup to swap to the chassis on the map and it became tangible again.

Changed Status to Fixed

There has been some changes to the handling of the Possessed Chassis transition that has in effect fixed this too I think.
