when I looked at my friends skilltree (he was playing wolfgang, I was playing wormwood) the shadow hands turned up like they do when you are shadow aligned, he didn't have any points on wolfgang though, he did the same to me and even though wormwood can't be shadow aligned and I had no enlightment points with him the shadow hands appeared for him, both our own respective skill trees looked fine to ourselves though, I don't have an image unfortunately and can't take one because my friend is away but yeah.
start a public server on the DST public beta, have a friend join while you are playing wormwood, wolfgang or woodie, have them choose one of these characters, make sure you haven't used enlightenment points, examine them when you have both chosen a character
