Foods in Backpacks don't get influenced by acid rains in the BETA version. It isn't this case in the normal version, where it's durability drops faster when it's in a backpack worn by a player.

I'm not sure if this is working as intended.

Thank you for the report! This one is working as intended to match with how moisture does not accumulate on food items while they are in a backpack. The animated icon should help players see what items are being effected to help emphasize it.
