Food storage beard makes it impossible to shift click food into the crock pot while holding both crock pot and icebox open

The expected and desired behavior is for the food in the icebox to be shift clicked into the crock pot. But since I have a beard, shift clicking simply moves between the beard and the ice box. Notably, it doesn't ever seem to choose going into the crock pot.
