The dragonfly is always spawning in a certain area away from the lava pools, and this time it spawns close to your spawn.
You can see the disappearing animation she's doing, and you can also see it on the minimap where I'm located.
Steps to Reproduce
I created the world, went to face the dragonfly, and realized that it has a totally incorrect spawn area, sometimes it disappears near your spawn, and sometimes it disappears near some lava pools.
I assume it's because of world generation making the dragonfly area even shorter than normal.
