Hi, I’ve been enjoying the new beta content but I’ve come across a number of bugs that severely dampening the fun:
- In the moonstorms, attempting to trigger the Wagstaff experiment mini-game causes my server to crash completely, as in even if I verify my files and use a fresh, pre-rift save the crash still occurs. This is hugely problematic as it practically bars the player from collecting enlightened shards which are needed for the encapsulators if you’re not looking to use console commands
- I’ve been made aware that the terramites have two modes depending on the celestial creature you use (grazers or gestalts), however regardless of what I capture in the encapsulator, I always get the spiked spinning variant and never the helicopter variant. Whether it’s because I’ve used the wrong creatures seems unclear. This is disappointing as I do want to try the other version.
- The lag. This was particularly troublesome when I was playing as Wendy to practice the fight, the WARBOT fight causes such heavy lag when I fight as her which just makes the already challenging fight just…frustrating.
- if I’ve rolled back after capturing the celestial revenant and give the encapsulator to Wagstaff, he doesn’t activate the lever for us to pull, forcing you to collect more filled encapsulators to get him to activate it and potentially having to fight with twice as many terramites.
i mainly just wanted to bring these glitches to Klei’s attention but if you know any fixes for these glitches please tell me.
Steps to Reproduce
- Start the moonstorms event and follow Wagstaff until he starts the experiment mini game
- capture grazers with the encapsulator and give them to Wagstaff, see if he created the helicopter terramites
- start the WARBOT fight as Wendy on a Beefalo
- defeat the Celestial Revenant, capture it, roll back to just after capture, and give the encapsulator to Wagstaff
