Claus's geysers start damaging immediately after they spawn, dealing 1 or 2 damage considering you get out of as soon as possible(i used Woby), but before the latest patch they did not damage if you get out quick enough, i lost about 30 hp from them during the fight(and got hit by a deer once).
Steps to Reproduce
I do not know if this happens all the time, this may be or not be reproduced only on certain conditions. Then just start Claus fight and let him use deer attack and look at its damage.
