Can't click on anything when not the host

You cannot do any actions using the mouse when you are not the host.

Another edit: There's no eat prompt on controller or keyboard.

Steps to Reproduce

Join someone's game.

Try to click on something.

You can't and it will just walk you to where you clicked. 

Edit:

This bug persists on controller.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.

I did not have any client mods, no. 
The bug can be reproduced if you join a world that is currently paused by the host.

I think this was fixed with today's hotfix looking over the changes but it was not in the patch notes. Could you verify this is the case?
