if you set autumn to long and keep everything else the same Bearger will spawn on day 29 on the first autumn and fire hounds will start spawning after day 21. I believe this is because in the game code if its autumn and past day 21 the game will assume it is the second year because that is the only way that would happen without changing worldgen settings.
Steps to Reproduce
set autumn to long and wait until winter starts it should happen by then
