Seems to be a bug with Bioluminescence/Brainy Matter not spawning for some reason. I've saved and loaded my game several times and it's only appeared once for me.The time it did appear I stocked up on it, but now I'm running low. I know where I can find some bioluminescence but it's just not there. The brainy matter and fireflies seem to share the same bug in my game. I've seen two brainy matters that I've never harvested, and I know exactly where they are, but when I returned to get them, they were both gone. Probably all natural light sources in my world aren't spawning correctly. I do see fireflies sometimes, but they are VERY rare. Maybe one on every other island.

A developer has marked this issue as fixed. This means that the issue has been addressed in the current development build and will likely be in the next update.
