Only one hound each wave

I'm around day 120 and for the last couple attacks there was only one hound each time. Warning time and frequency seems about correct for day 100+.

I'm not sure what could have caused it. Only noticeable thing I did was enter the volcano for the first time. Or maybe it was hitting day 100. ...

I know this is late but I have been having issues with one-hound attacks after entering and exiting caves. I’ve also have been having issues with seasons being skipped when entering caves and I’ve seen other people say volcanos have also made seasons skip. My one hound attacks always happen a day after leaving a cave. Maybe these issues are related.
