Drying rack problems

Whenever I try to hang something on the drying rack the server crashes and it really confuses me. I have experienced this not only on 1 server but 2 that I have hosted. Is it possible it to be a bug from a mod?

Whenever I try to put something on the said structure the game registers that I, indeed, have put something on it (for example from 8 pieces of meat in my hand the numbers reduces to 7), but it does not show any meat hanging. Then my character freezes in one place and ,if i try to walk, it will only show me the animation without really moving my character. Not long after that the symbol that I have lost connection to the server appears on the top left corner of the screen and the server kicks me out.

P.S.: As I said, this happens when only I try to do something. It is not 2 or more people trying to use the same thing at the same time. I do not know if this still happens if another player (not a host) tries to use the drying rack.
