Update Information:

 Hey all, it's time for Intermission! This time for you we've got a mysterious animation, new login reward, streaming drops, and "Hostile Takeover: Phase Two"!

It’s easy to lose ourselves in dreams of what might have been. But reality creeps in, quiet and inevitable like shadows at dusk. As the shadow arc draws to a close, every promise must be honored, every debt paid.

Hostile Takeover: Phase 2
We have some additional content and features for Hostile Takeover that were released in the update today. 

Highlights include:

  • Electric weapons adjusted, and shock states added to creatures.
  • Added a new craftable T.I.N.G.L.E. Node.
  • Drying Rack changed to have multiple slots.
  • Celestial Altar crafting adjustments.
  • Post Celestial Scion adjustments to Lunar questline.
  • Lunar Hail optimizations, and the falling debris has been replaced with a new event and mutation.
  • Rendering optimizations.

Board Game Update!

Our Friends at Glass Cannon Unplugged have updated the Dont Starve The Board Game project page with new images and info. They'll be launching in September. Follow the campaign to stay up to date on future launch details and to get a free gift if you decide to support the project!

- Added "Hostile Takeover: Phase Two" content.
- Scrapbook updated to include new prefabs and any recent data changes.
- Lunar Hail Bird sounds are in. Now you can hear the screams of the many avians!
- Fixed Hound corpses to display "Dead Hound" like other corpses instead of just "Hound".
- Fixed Hound corpses and Koalefant corpses not having insanity auras.
- Fixed a crash when lightning strikes a corpse.
- Hunger meter arrows show properly on clients, as well as when running as Wonkey, or swimming as any character.
- Celestial Champion is no longer freezable.
- Buzzards will now fly away when taking fire damage .
- Inventory items will no longer block boat placement. Items will be pushed away when a boat is placed on top of them, or in the case of Puffins, fly away.
- Added a unique recipe description for Wandering Trader's Living Log trade.
- Fixed scrapbook notifications showing twice.
- Fixed "Social Menu Movement" setting not working as intended.
- Fixed bug with not being able to repair Terramites directly in your inventory.
- Fixed crash when Terramites hit the Moon Stone with a skinned Star Caller's Staff in it.
- Fixed bug with Terramites turning invisible in chests.
- Fixed bug with Stone Chair turning invisible after changing its skin several times.
- Fixed a crash when trying to place a skinned Sisturn.
- Fixed Pirate Banners not having the better structure placement change.
- Fixed not being able to aim left while casting Willow's Lunar Flame.
- Fixed shadow parasited creatures from incrementing the naughtiness counter when killed.
- Fixed Wigfrid and life drain (Batbat, Shadow Mauler) from gaining stats when attacking a Deck of Cards.
- Fixed a crash with the Wandering Trader spawner in the modified instance that a spawn point is removed.
- Fixed Frogs and Small birds attacking or continuing to attack things they shouldn't. (E.g. Inert Crab King or Defeated Nightmare/Scrappy Werepig)
